Students learned about the abstract art of Wassily Kandinsky with paintings of bright bold colors and shapes. To begin the assignment, students had to listen to short sets of music and draw...keeping their eyes closed. From there they used a small viewfinder to pull out an interesting composition of lines. Students then transfered the lines to Dura Lar transparent plastic, painted and framed their artwork. Put in the window and they are SMASHINGLY BRIGHT and BOLD on a sunny day!
